Does my silk scarf have to be dry-cleaned only?
We recommend dry cleaning, however; careful handwashing is also an option (please see care instructions detailed on our website and check out our blog).

Can I put my silk scarf in the washer and dryer? Minaj A Silks does not recommend or advise you to ever put your silk scarf in the machine wash cycle, and even more; never put your silk scarf in a dryer to dry.

Can I use heavy grease and oils on my hair before wearing my silk scarf? we do not recommend wearing your silk scarf if your hair is heavily saturated with oil or product. Silk is a natural fiber, the oils will stay in its fibers, and it will be a heavy barrier between your hair and the silk scarf, this barrier will prevent the scarf from doing what it does best and therefore compromise the shine and healthy bounce of your hair. It can also cause staining, instead, if necessary, opt for a small amount of shea butter, Kemi oil, or shine spray.

Will I get an allergic reaction from wearing a real silk scarf?
Our silk scarves are hypoallergenic. They are naturally odder less and resistant to fungus, mold, mites, and allergens. It breathes, no turning your pillow over again and again to find that cool spot, it cools in the summer and warms in the winter. It's great for acne, as we mentioned it won't absorb oils unless heavily saturated, therefore it won't transfer product and oils back onto your face all night.


Why does my silk scarf look different from the silk scarf shown on the website?
All of our silk scarves are 100% handmade. The highest quality fabric is selected, and your scarf is cut and sewn from a continuous amount of fabric for each specific pattern. Therefore, there will be slight variations, although they are all " cut from the same cloth" no two scarves are the same. Every scarf purchased is truly one of a kind.

What length, style, or texture does my hair have to be to wear a Minaj A Silk scarf?
Silk scarves can be worn with any length or hair texture; long or short, curly or straight, kinky, coiled, fine or thick. Corn rolls, dread locs, permed or natural. Even bald, silk also has the same beneficial factors when coming in contact with our skin.

Why was there a dent left on my forehead after taking off my silk scarf?
Chances are you tied it too tight; leaving an imprint on your forehead. This usually goes away within a few hours, but this can be unappealing.

Remember, you want your scarf to be secured, but not uncomfortable.
To avoid this from happening try not to tie it too tight and you will have better results.

*Tying the scarf behind your head is our recommendation for daytime looks. However, we found that the scarf will not be as secure while sleeping when tied behind your head, therefore there is a high risk of it sliding off at night.

Where does Mulberry silk come from?
Mulberry silk origins come from China. It is one of the highest-quality silks in the world. The silk is made from the delicate cocoons of the Bombyx mori moth or the Bombyx indica; which are fed exclusively from the leaves of the mulberry tree. The silk matter is spun from long individual silk fibers creating luxurious fabrics.

What is silk satin?
Satin is a type of weave made from long-fiber textiles and not a raw material. Today, Satin can be made with any fiber. However, Our Minaj A silk solid-colored scarves were made using the satin technique and from 100% pure silk, a naturally breathable fiber.

Can I return my silk scarf if I change my mind?
All sales are final for a few reasons. 1, our silk scarves are handmade just for you after you place your order. 2; Due to hygiene reasons we are unable to resale a silk scarf that has been previously worn (we do not have proof that it had not been worn or tried on). Please be sure that you are certain about purchasing and submitting your payment. We will not accept any purchased scarves mailed to our return address requesting a refund. Therefore, we will not be responsible for shipping your scarf back to you if delivered.

What if I receive the wrong scarf? We will carefully review your order and investigate any errors made on our end. If we find that it was our error, we will gladly refund your money or replace your scarf with the correct one.

I did not receive my silk scarf in the shipping time frame provided.
Please check your tracking information and make sure that no severe weather has caused a delay with the courier. Also, check the address listed on your shipping confirmation receipt to confirm that you listed your address correctly. We are not responsible for replacing your silk scarves if any address was listed incorrectly. However, if your scarf has not been shipped yet, we would gladly update your address before shipping.

What if my order indicates that it was delivered, but I have not received it
Please check your tracking information and file an incident report with the courier. If your order indicates it was received from you on our end. We have no proof that it was not delivered, and therefore we cannot issue a refund or replacement.

What if I have a larger/smaller-sized head, can a scarf be customized?
Our Minaj A Silk scarfs are currently customized to fit the head size of the average man or woman. If your head does not fit within that index, please know we will be giving our customers the option to customize the size of their scarves for the future; unfortunately, we do not offer this service at this time.
